Today I had the honour of being interviewed by Anson Nash an inspirational 17yr old from Washington discussing the unfolding consequences of our unraveling biosphere. We discuss that fact that all the warnings have been ignored and that we have crossed a multitude of tipping points, are now descending into the abyss and the fact that I refuse to be the last generation of elder lying to the last generation of youth. It was a remarkably philosophical conversation with a remarkable young man.

Anson mentioned that the French environment minister quit live on air saying : “I don’t want to lie to myself any more”.
I quoted Michael C Ruppert saying “Until you change the way money works you change nothing”.
“The scientifically neccessary is politically unfeasable and the politcally feasable is scientifically irrelevant” William Rees.

Excellent interview! I was so impressed with the knowledge of the issue by Anson because he obviously did his homework.I hope he continues this endeavor and educates others so they can prepare for the end of time. The only comment I have is if you can improve on the recorded quality of the sound for your voice Kevin because at times it was difficult to hear what you were saying. It could just be my hearing so I apologize if that’s the case. Thanks for sharing.

Mic placement is everything. It sounds like Kevin is counting on a laptop mic located UNDER the keyboard, for reasons that escape me. The mic might be good enough, and Kevin might be close enough, and next time he might want to tip the laptop so that the screen is flat on the tabletop and the keyboard is perpendicular with the underside facing him.

The young folk are not stupid even though they are treated as such. And it’s gotten pretty obvious just looking out the window here in Washington State that climate and the weather it creates is seriously out of whack.
The local young people ask me about climate, too, and I don’t hold back when I reply, either. I tell them the science I’ve read/currently am reading and not the fossil fuel propaganda that they get from corporate media. I tell them the science realities and not to listen to anything the corrupt politicians have to say because they are all bought.
It pretty much bums them. Yeah, ya think? The one thing I tell them is to hold off having any kids. Most in the last ten years have listened I’ve noticed though there are a few that have.
Sure is a slippery slope we’re sliding down, isn’t it? Ripples in a pond…

More canary is dead news.
Argentina is facing an incredible heat wave this week, comparable to Death Valley in the US. When the town of Lytton in BC to the north of me blowtorched last summer with 121’F I was at 116’F and unable to even go outside (along with 4 radical wildfire evac alerts). But this is looking to be even worse than last summer up here.
Argentina is the 2nd largest exporter of food in the world after the US. Hungry anyone?

If the GFS model is to be believed, temperatures could approach 50°C (122°F) on Thursday and Friday in Argentina.
