Continued organising demonstrations against the TPPA, Deep Sea Drilling and neo-liberalism generally.
2014
In October 2014, I had the honor of touring New Zealand with Professor Guy McPherson speaking about abrupt climate change.
2013
Helped organise protests against the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement and Deep Sea Drilling.
2012
Via my good friend Robin Westenra who posts at Seamorerocks, I came into contact with Michael C. Rupert and Professor Guy McPherson and the inevitability of near term human extinction.
2011
All my worst fears came to fruition on March 11, 2011 with the triple melt down of Fukushima Daiichi.
2000
Returned to New Zealand, after breaking my neck in Mozambique, fracturing my third cervical vertebrae but going on to make a full recovery.
1991
Worked on development project, rehabilitating Port in Beira during the civil war.
1989
Began my ocean sailing career, first one being transit of the Mediterranean. Then went on to complete sixteen ocean passages, half as skipper, half as crew. Spent twelve years backpacking. 1981 to 2003
1970
Moved from city to countryside. As a result, learned to embrace nature.
1960
Born in Auckland on the 10th of March, a fish through and through.
