Warmest Winter in the Arctic in Living Memory

We have had the warmest winter in the Arctic in living memory with temperature anomalies of well over 10C.
This summer melt season will be like no other:

El Nino did not play the largest role in why February was the most abnormally warm month ever recorded // Published on Mar 20, 2016

If I wasn’t prepared for this I would be terrified of the consequences but I have been expecting this every day.
Good to see that they aren’t attributing the spike wholly to the El Nino.
