As the subservient government of John Key continues to normalise relations with the US Killing Machine and has decided to allow US Military vessels back into our territorial waters, Officially from November, we will see the teetering marine food web come in for another local hammering.
The endangered Maui’s Dolphin , reduced to less than 60 on it’s inexorable decent to extinction just encountered a new deadly foe. History will show John Key as the Prime Minister at the helm of our sinking ship who signed the Maui’s extinction warrant.
Professor Guy McPherson will be touring NZ with me in November where we will discuss species extinctions that include humans.
Here is an informative and excellent article, by Dahr Jamail: ‘Navy Allowed to Kill or Injure Nearly 12 Million Whales, Dolphins, Other Marine Mammals in Pacific.’
Hi Kevin can Yu please tell me if there is a protest re: Nuclear Warship coming to NZ.

Hey Kevin,
Do you know if anyone has attempted to quantify U.S. military contributions to global warming? I think its share is likely a large one. The same with other militaries worldwide?
Thanks,
John L.

32 years ago NZ became Nuclear Free and as a result we were fortuitously evicted from the ANZUS treaty.
One of the last acts of treason committed by the Wall street banker and now ex-prime minister John Key was to authorise the re-entry of US warships back into our waters.
As if the worlds oceans weren’t under enough pressure the warmongering , expansionist nature of US Imperialism adds more un-necessary pressure.

“The extensive global operations of the US military (wars, interventions, and secret operations on over one thousand bases around the world and six thousand facilities in the United States) are not counted against US greenhouse gas limits. Sara Flounders writes, “By every measure, the Pentagon is the largest institutional user of petroleum products and energy in general. Yet the Pentagon has a blanket exemption in all international climate agreements.”
“According to Barry Sanders, author of The Green Zone: The Environmental Costs of Militarism, “the greatest single assault on the environment, on all of us around the globe, comes from one agency . . . the Armed Forces of the United States.”

If more people realized that the pollutants from the US War Machine along with that of all the other War Machine Nations are a death sentence for the planet would they stop the military maniacs? I would hope, but fear they would not. Precisely because of mental dissonance that has so impacted our ability to name and define our objective condition. Paulo Freire had it knew it long ago just as every rebel and fighter for liberty did as well. Sent from my iPhone
