As World War Three progresses with the proxy war in Ukraine grinding the nation and its war weary people into dust, we need to pay close attention to the second front. The systematic demolition of US Dollar Hegemony.

We are witnessing epochal changes in the global economy with the independent states, centred around the BRIC’s nations, now trading oil in their own currencies.
This development represents an existential threat not ‘just’ for US Dollar hegemony but for US military and industrial hegemony in what has rapidly become a multi-polar world.
China and to a lesser extent Russia are masters of “Soft Power”. The controlled demolition of US dollar hegemony is clearly underway.
Let’s take a field trip to the frontlines. Batton down the hatches, it’s going to be one hell of a transition, let’s hope we survive it! I would rate our chances as slim because of the mendacity existing in the USA and the impossibility of it meeting it’s debt obligations once the Greenback is no longer the worlds reserve currency.

“We are fighting a war against Russia”, Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock told the Council of Europe. “We can fight this war only together” she said, calling to send tanks and more weapons to Ukraine.”

Forget going to see Christopher Nolan’s bloated exercise in sanitized nuclear hagiography and instead watch The Strangest Dream, Eric Bednarski’s compelling 2008 documentary on Joseph Rotblat, the Polish physicist, who resigned from the Manhattan Project in protest after it became clear that Nazi Germany had ended its nuclear weapons research program. Rotblat was a driving force behind the 1955 Albert Einstein-Bertrand Russell Manifesto, which called for nuclear disarmament and a negotiated end to the escalating Cold War. Rotblat went on to co-found the anti-nuclear Pugwash Conference on Science and World Affairs, with whom he shared the Nobel Peace Prize in 1995 “for efforts to diminish the part played by nuclear arms in international affairs and, in the longer run, to eliminate such arms.” Rotblat, along with Leo Szilard and Joseph Franck, was a consistent voice of sanity amid a throng of mad scientists. The US Imperial war machine loses again. I was surprised, and a little disappointed, that this court ruled (mostly) against Israeli genocide of Palestinians, but then they coming out with this ruling that Russia did NOT fund ‘terrorism’ by supporting the Donbass against the US-sponsored neo-Fascists’ coup against the elected government in Ukraine and its unprovoked attacks against those people on the eastern side of that fractured country. And they also ruled against the coup government claims that it was Russia who shot down the civilian airliner. That incident was extremely dodgy in the first place (except in the US corporate media) to anybody with critical thinking skills.
I’m seriously impressed. I didn’t think it was possible to go against what the Empire wants.

The US neocons have fed two generations of Ukrainians into the Russian meatgrinder.
After WW2 the demography of Germany was changed by the high mortality rate of German men in the conflict, that is being paralleled in Ukraine.
The implications for women in both conflicts is little addressed, Mark and Manila have rectified that.
Women don’t become surrogates unless they are desperate, the psychological consequences will be horrendous!

You are very welcome, shipmaster. It’s been an honor to participate here, to post some of the widely scattered information I seem to always find, absorb, and ponder. And to have an outlet to be able to vent my thinking and conclusions somewhere that isn’t under the thumb of corporate rulers or poo-poo’d by people filled with hopium because god is so wonderful and won’t let anything ‘really bad’ happen (and that’s a quote) is a generous thing to allow.

It’s not like there are many people I know who can take much of what I send out…too much of it is pretty dark but then reality doesn’t care for our feelings, does it?
Even my longest and closest friend living/surfing in Hawai’i has said he can’t, and he nicknamed me the ‘surfer’ Cassandra decades ago because of how accurate I end up being later on, and that is starting with what I saw coming in the Ronald Reagan administration!! A retired high school biology teacher with a career spent working with Sp Ed Early Childhood native kids there, he knows what’s coming but just doesn’t want it in his head every day. But he sees it, the death of the coral in the ocean etc etc…
I wish I didn’t have such a decades-long list of being correct to be honest. He just shakes his head at me sometimes…
