My old snowboarder friend on the East Coast is sending emails:
“Here in Maryland we have had below normal temperatures and too much rain. The weather forecast is warning of severe thunderstorms on Monday.
Other than that Covid is making an uptick again. My brother has it even though he has gotten vaccinated and has gotten his booster shots. He caught it from his sister in law at a Mothers Day event last weekend.”
And a just a week ago he sent one saying it was 85’F. The week before that there was snow falling in NY…and he was in Pennsylvania the week before that (he trucks food deliveries for a supermarket) and the wind was howling so bad that he pulled over…and then got hit by baseball hail that cracked the windshield. So…he gets a front seat for this vid!

Fast and furious shifts going on twisting faster and faster is what it’s looking like. Ah hell, ya know?
My weather is continuing to be morning overcast, sprinkles, broken cloud with some sun, between 12-18C during the day. My garden girls are mostly inside at this point under lights as still getting very chill weather with a few nights freezing which they can’t take. Warmer this morning, almost muggy, and I’ve got them on a 9am-3pm blackout with 18 hours of all-night grow lights (including some afternoons outside) because of the chance of freezes. Once the weather goes warmer I’ll be shifting them to the normal outside during the day and lights until late at night. Hard to judge when the weather doesn’t have a normal pattern anymore, ya know?

And it’s freaking raining here, started this afternoon. It’s coming from the Bomb Cyclone off the coast that’s still moving north that’s pounding the shit out of California with more to come from the Pineapple Express in the next few days.
