Trumps nuclear armed threats to other NATO members can’t just be laughed off, the stakes are far too high.
The response, or lack thereof from the European NATO members reflects what vassal states they have all become and how they have been infiltrated by the far right. I was living in West Germany when the wall came crashing down. I was in Berlin one week before the collapse of the German Democratic Republic. There were isolated demo’s being held around the country but zero hint that the fabric of the entire East German state was in danger of collapse! My partner at the time took a photo of me pissing on the wall and when it collapsed, I took credit for undermining the foundations of the Berlin Wall! Far to X-rated to embed here lol!

The “Empire of Chaos”, what Pepe Escobar calls the USA/Nato/Israeli axis has threatened to invade Greenland, Canada and Panama, there are a number of reasons why NATO can’t continue to exist if either of the first two countries mentioned above are attacked and annexed. I would question if it can survive the threats, let alone a kinetic confrontation between members.

At one stage in my working life, I was an electrician, electricians don’t appear out of thin air, youth have to be educated, they need to have discipline, and they need excellent training facilities, they can’t be conjured up on demand.

And just threatened to send troops to Iran because of the economic rioting that is going on there (due to all the US ‘sanctions’ of course), and the son of the absolutely murderous Shah of Iran that the US and England put in to steal all their oil is literally whining to Prezident Shitzinpants about being made the new Shah. How’s that going to work out because, due to the US Colonialism of 1953 that ended up with Iran being a Islamic Theocracy full of Jihadists. Just like the US is full of Christo-Jihadists Theocrats and Israel is full of Zionist-Jihadist Theocrats, putting the violent nutbag Son of Shah in as Dear Leader does not seem to me to be a rational idea, ya know? But I’d put nothing beneath Prez. History does, too, repeat, because we are a stupid primate species that is barely past burning people as witches….but we have a terrible ability to build weapons to use on one another.
But the neo-Fascist leaders of this violent colonialist country have had 40 years to re-make this continent in to the worst version of Reagan’s Dream, and every single president since Reagan has continued the batshit crazy politics of that fucking B-Grade moron Hollywood Actor no matter what ‘party’ they say they were affiliated with. Nazism (MAGA) is going full-blown madness and is already planning on building ‘warehouses’ for mass incarceration. Publicly. The government has its SS and is training its South American ‘Death Squads’ (now called ICE) as I write this. Though they haven’t gone wholesale abduction yet, it’s coming and it’s coming for US citizens who disagree with Trump. .
You’ll notice that when the US kills protesters, or beats them, or imprisons them, or spray them with chemical weapons, they are always doing it to ‘paid agitators’ or violent left liberal commies (you know the ones that were bouncy costumes in Portland Oregon?), but when other countries do exactly the same thing to their populations as Iran is at the moment, the US calls them ‘protestors?’ We are also threatening to invade Iran after decades of ‘economic sanctions’ which means War in reality, and grabbing Russia-flagged oil tankers, looking at bombing Columbia, and attacking Mexico. Probably still wanting to annex Canada as the 51st state, too, I’m guessing.
Kevin, I’m glad I’m old only because I won’t be around to experience the worst of what the climate is going to throw at us all. I hope. It’s already pretty fucking bad but the worst is hanging out there in the future in view, ya know? I look out the window and it’s 4’C with 25-40mm of snow in mid-freaking-January in the mountains on the Canadian Border. Should be 400-500mm of snowpack around this house by now. Not only that, but I had a flying insect dancing outside on the window today. A gnat which shouldn’t be showing up until late April or May.

This is an excellent dive into the predicament of one NATO member threatening to militarily annex Greenland, which is part of Denmark, another NATO member. The Danish Prime Minister is unequivocal of her position and rights and says she has the support of the EU against a military intrusion by the USA. I suspect DJT has never heard or retained the significance of Article Five of the NATO Treaty.
